Verse of the Day – Isaiah 40:31

Isaiah 40:31

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah describes God’s power to create, his provision, and his presence to help, God is almighty and all-powerful, but even so he cares for each of us personally.

Even the strongest people get tired at times, but God’s   power and strength never diminish. He is never too tired or too busy to help and listen. His strength is our source of strength. When you feel all of life crushing you and you cannot go another step, remember that you can call upon God to renew your strength.

We all need regular times to listen to God. Waiting on the Lord is expecting his promised strength to help us rise above life’s distractions and difficulties. Listening to God help us to be prepared for when he speaks to us. To be patient when he ask us to wait, and to expect him to fulfill his promises found in his Word.

Father God in heaven, we thank you for renewing our strength every day. You never get tired or too busy taking care of us, you our source of strength and apart from you we can do nothing but with you we can do all things.  Even though we passed on the difficult times in our life, you are our hope and strength. We believe in your promises, help us Lord to call upon your name every day for you are our God who cares for us.  This is our prayer in Jesus name we pray.  Amen
